Notes: In the museum collection.  This rife was acquired from All American Pawn in Mocksville, NC.  This single shot rifle, 18 inch round barrel, was marketed by J Stevens as a "Boys Rifle".  Manufactured between 1911 and 1933; these little guns will break down by way of the screw in front of the trigger guard. This example is in fair to good condition.  There is one non original screw located in the receiver.
