Notes: In the museum collection.  She was aquired by way of Gunbroker. Remington first used the monider 'Speedmaster' on the Model 24.  Speedmaster was used on the the 241 and in 1957 given to the 552.  Remington advertises the rifle as able to load and shot Long Rifle, Long and Shorts.  We took her out to the range and alternated between Remington Shorts and CCI Stingers; she flawlessly loaded, fired and ejected a full magazine without incident. She is a full sized rifle, well balanced and is pleasing to shoot.
